Benchmarks : Weekly Update

• Awful week, feeling of being played by markets as I watch P&L swing around, up first then down net. Little trading done. Not nimble enough to catch the EUR move.
• USDX : Still down.
• US10YY : Down.
• S&P500 : Down.
• Gold : Grinding up.
• My feeling is that we are in non-trending mode. In which case, carry considerations become important. To make meaningful money, need to take bigger positions with positive carry and sit through the swings. The worst kind of trading conditions for trend traders trying to make big money on small positions.
