- Only bothered to finish the book because it is by J.K. Rowling. Feels too much like "reading" a sitcom like Desperate Housewives. Very slow going, way too many characters to keep track of at first.
- Got better only after grinding through the first third and got familiar with all the characters without having to stop and think about who was who/what. The plodding pace takes a bit of getting used to.
- Would never have read a book like this if not for the brand name. Overall - not too bad. Glad I put in the effort to finish it (but had expected much better of J.K. Rowling).
