Normal Service Resumes

• Back from 3 weeks in Shanghai to take care of a personal matter which has now been happily resolved, albeit with residual dark clouds. That's life - can't have it all.
• Only had access to PATS (my superb trade execution system from MF Global) + my iPad charts (Swiss Forex, Bloomberg and iChartist Pro). 
• Did not have access to Thomson Reuters Eikon. (3000Xtra used to work in Shanghai). I learned that I can easily live without it though. Prelude to a separation?
• As usual Google services were sub-par. No access to Google Docs at all. Also no Blogger, no Youtube. Google Reader and Gmail works fine.
• Realize now that I can work almost as effectively with just PATS and the iPad Apps above. No need for TR Eikon really. What I need to do next time is to prepare a non-Eikon version of my Excel trades database/spreadsheet for manual reval.
• For continuity of blog posts, have set up a Taichiseal Charts blog on a China web host for future use [ http://blog.sina.com.cn/u/2261690644 ]
