- The kind of week that makes one question if one knows anything about trading at all. An outright confidence buster.
- USDX : Need to hold UpTL around 83.85 next week for a sideways reading. If not, should see further downside. Top looks too heavy to hope for eventual uptrend continuation.
- US10YY : The double top here looks well and alive. Higher yields upto 3.20% are for selling (buying TY) into. Lower yields = lower USD/fx ?
- S&P500 : While trade back above NL was disappointing, the overall look is still bearish notwithstanding the strong rally of the past few days. Just going to be a longer wait for this to deliver.
- Gold : Paulson fund-led liquidation over? Am still positive on this over the longer term.
- WC : My hope - Spain+Uruguay+Diego Forlan for Golden Boot.

JOHANNESBURG - URUGUAY striker Diego Forlan was awarded the Golden Ball as the World Cup's best player Sunday, and Germany forward Thomas Mueller won the Golden Boot as the tournament's top scorer with five goals.
Forlan was voted the most outstanding player of the tournament by accredited media after leading his team to the semifinals. Forlan narrowly beat Netherlands playmaker Wesley Sneijder, receiving 23.4 per cent of the votes to 21.8 per cent for the Dutchman. Spain striker David Villa was third with 16.9 per cent of the votes.
