- Finally back on track after having struggled all year long from the get go.
- I am now of the opinion that in T4L, the psychological blow of 2 down years in a row is probably too much to bear and fatal to one's T4L aspirations. Having had a down year in 2009, it is imperative that I have a "normal" up year now. Therefore, will be a lot less adventurous with my risk taking for the rest of 2010 to ensure that I have a positive year.
- Will impose new EAR restrictions to ensure I achieve this. Possibly take out some profits from the margin account as well. Definitely more important to be just UP for 2010 than making a lot more.

You the man! I love reading your blog because you are so real; you do not hide your flaws and you share your days good or bad. The sharing of your experiences is so much more valuable to me than your charts, though your charts are rocking awesome as well!
Good on you TS! Hope you make your yearly target.
Btw, do you measure profitability on a daily basis, including open positions marked to market, or only closed positions?
Cheers,
Pandu
Only 1 way to do it - mtm all positions. No difference whether position is open or closed, you have to value it at the market in real time.
T: great to read of your success - it's cheerful - keep it up !!
Thank you.
