And so it is with the best looking charts. In practice, it is almost always the case that these never ever work out the way the textbooks say. And if they eventually do work, it is always only AFTER throwing you a few curved balls (like flirting with SHS necklines) to test your convictions and patience to the limit.
A strongly positive P&L day suddenly turned negative for me on Bernanke's "far from being out of the woods" speech in Dallas. Cut the short TYM0 (although re-established at 116-00) and EDU1 and reduced the short USD/JPY based on gut feel even though I think the SHS formations will still work, eventually.
Sometimes, you just have to cast the charts aside and go with your gut feel. Just like when we were 2- or 3-0 up and Rafael da Silva kicked out unnecessarily and petulantly at the Bayern player for his first yellow card, I knew instinctively in my gut that we were not going to make it through. (Oh Rafael! .. you silly silly boy).
A lousy night all round.

Hmm .. don't remember all the actresses who played her (I think Carol Cheng did ... definitely not my favorite!).
My favorite 赵敏 was played by 张敏 in the Jet Li movie version. Not that I think she acted the part particularly well, but because I think she is such a babe regardless. :)
Ah.. I recall now.. TVB version .. 米雪。I like.
Ah yes... when talking about 倚天屠龍記/The Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre, the only worthwhile question to ask is:
Who is your favourite 赵敏 ?

I always feel that when judging between the different 倚天屠龍記 serials that were produced over the decades, it is always the actress playing the character of 赵敏, which makes or break the series.
I loved 张敏's character of 赵敏 in the movie (but Jet Li was, ahem rather un-張無忌-like); imperious and impy, just like what the mongolian princess should be like.
Pity she never got to act in a full series as 赵敏.
But my all-time fav 赵敏 has to be 黎美嫻 from the 1986 version (with Tony Leung as 張無忌).
Perfect 赵敏, perfect 張無忌.
Was only in primary school then, but I was seriously hooked on 黎美嫻/Kitty Lai then.

Ah yes Don. Looks like we have the same appreciation for 黎美嫻 even though we may be a decade or more apart in age! I loved her portrayal of 赵敏 too. What a babe!
